2/5 of the total number of students took a test in Mathematics and the rest of the students went to see the National Museum. If there are 80 students in the class, find the number of students who visited the museum.​

Let x be the total students

Then the total number of students took a test in Mathematics = 2x/5

So the students went to see the National Museum

= x - 2x/5 = 3x/5

So

2x/ 5 = 80

x = 80×5/2= 200

So the number of students who visited the museum

= 3 /5 × 200 = 120
