Let the total students in school be x
Fraction of Students who come by car= 2/5
Fraction of Students who come by bus= 1/4
Fraction of Students left=1-(2/5+1/4)
=1-((8+5)/20){LCM of 5 and 4 =20}
=1-13/20
=(20-13)/20
=7/20
ATQ,
1/3×7x/20=224
7x/60=(224×60)/7
x=1920
Thus,
There are total 1920 students in the school....
