Lets say the measurement of the image with the ruler is 8.4cm since I don't have the actual image.(answers may vary depending on the image)

(a) 8.4 cm to mm is 84 as you only move one decimal place to the right(as stated by the conversions table)

(b) 84 mm to um(micrometres) is 84000 because you have to move three decimal places to the right based off the metric conversions table.

(d) the distance between the two marks are 2mm which in um is 2000. So, you would divide 2000 by 4.2 and get 476 mitchondrions.
