Amount of sugar=2.5g

Amount of water=47.5g

Total amount=47.5+2.5=50g

Percent by mass of sugar= 2.5÷50×100

=5℅

So the percent by mass of water =100-5=95℅

Percent of sugar=5℅and per. Of water=95℅
