GIVEN =

SINCE TEMPERATURE IS CONSTANT , WE USE HERE BOYLE' S LAW BECAUSE HERE ONLY T IS CONSTANT

SO

V = 2.5 Litres

P = 1 BAR

v = 500 ml or we can say 0.5 L

p = ?

PV = pv

⇒ 1×2.5 = p × .5

⇒p = 5 bar

Answer:5 bar

Explanation: since temperature is constant , we use Boyle's law

P1=1 bar P2 = ? V1= 2.5 litre V2= 500ml/0.5litre

P1V1 = P2V2

1 X 2.5 litre= P2 X 0.5 litre

P2=1 X 2.5÷ 0.5

P2=5 bar
