Answer :

Here, (2, 6) = 2 + 6i
and (4, 2) = 4 + 6i

Now,

(2, 6) ÷ (4, 2)

= (2 + 6i)/(4 + 2i)

= {(2 + 6i)(4 - 2i)}/{(4 + 2i)(4 - 2i)}

= (8 - 4i + 24i - 12i²)/(16 - 4i²)

= (8 + 20i + 12)/(16 + 4), since i² = - 1

= (20 + 20i)/(20)

= 1 + i

= (1, 1)

Hi Friend !!!

Here is ur answer !!!

Here, (2,6) = 2+6i
(4,2) = 4+2i

Now, (2+6i)/(4+2i)

= {(2+6i)(4-2i)} / {(4+2i)(4-2i)}

= (8+24i-4i-12i²)/(4²-4i²)

= (8+20i+12)/16+4 as i² = -1

= (20+20i)/20

= 1+i

= (1,1)

Hope it helps u : )
