Step-by-step explanation:

first we will consider LHS -

= [(-2)×7/8]×7/9

=[-2×7/8]×7/9

=[-7/4]×7/9

=-7/8×7/9

now,

We will take LCM of 8and 9=2×2×2×3×3×3 =72

now we will multiply denominator with 72

so it will

= -126×56/72

= -957/9

now we will take RHS-

=(-2/5)×[7/8×7/9]

=-2/5×957/9

now we will take LCM of 5 and 9=5×3×3×3=45

= -18×4785/45

= -17232/45

so,

LHS IS NOT EQUAL TO RHS

=-957/9 IS NOT EQUAL TO -17232/45
