Correct Question:-

\dfrac{2}{7} of the oranges in a bag are bad if the bag has 35 oranges how many are good?

Solution:-

Given,

Total number of oranges in the bag

= 35

Number of bad oranges in the bag

= \dfrac{2}{7} of the oranges in bag

To Find,

• Number of good oranges in the bag

Number of bad oranges in the bag

= \dfrac{2}{7} of the oranges in bag

= \dfrac{2}{7} × 35

= 10

As we now know the Total number and number of bad oranges in the bag;

⟹ We can know the number of good oranges in the bag by the difference.

\LARGE{\bf{\underline{\underline{How?}}}}

\boxed{\bf{\purple{Number \ of \ good \ oranges \ = \ Total \ Number \ of \ oranges \ - \ Number \ of \ bad \ oranges}}}

Now,

Number of good oranges in the bag

= 35 - 10

= 25

\LARGE{\bf{\underline{\underline{✍ \ Required \ Answer \ :-}}}}

Number of good oranges in the bag

= 25
