2/7 x X - 18/7 + X/3 = 3

2 X / 7+ X/3 - 18/7 =3

6X+7X/21-18/7 =3

13X/21-18/7 = 3

13X/21 =3+18/7

13X/21 = 21+18/7

13X/21 = 39/7

13X = 39 × 21/7

X = 39 × 21/7 x 13

X = 9

 \frac{2}{7} (x - 9) + \frac{x}{3} = 3 \\ \\ \frac{2x}{7} - \frac{18}{7} + \frac{x}{3} = 3 \\ \\ \frac{2x}{7} + \frac{x}{3} = 3 + \frac{18}{7} \\ \\ \frac{13x}{21} = \frac{39}{7} \\ \\ 13x = \frac{39}{7} \times 21 \\ \\ 13x = 39 \times 3 \\ \\ x = \frac{39 \times 3}{13} \\ \\ x = 3 \times 3 \\ \\ x = 9
