Distance travelled = Area under graph.

⇒ s = ar(OABC)

{trapezium}

⇒ s = ½ (10 + 20 min)(20 km/h)

{area of Trapezium = ½(a + b)h}

⇒ s = ½ (½ h)(20 km/h)

{units must be written}

⇒ s = 5 km.

∴ The particle covered a distance of 5 km.

ALITER:

You can find the distance by dividing it into a triangle and a quadrilateral. And finding area subsiquently.
