u1 = 0.5 m/s
u2 = 0 m/s
v1 = 0.02 m/s
v2 = 0.3 m/s
To Find;-
co-efficient of restitution (e)
Solution;-
Velocity of approach = u1 - u2 = 0.5 m/s = vᵇ
Velocity of separation = v2 - v1 = 0.28 m/s = vᵃ
e = = = 0.56
Hence, the co-efficient of restitution = 0.56 which is Option (a)
