Answer:

☆ Given - 2- 8x / 16 + 6x = 0

☆ To find - Solution of this equation

☆ Solution -

2 - 8x/ 16 + 6x = 0

2 - 8x = 0 × ( 16 + 6x)

2- 8x = 0

-8x = 0 - 2

- 8x = (-2)

x = (-2)/ (-8)

x = 1/4

ADDTIONAL INFORMATION

-----------------------------------

• This is linear equation in one variable means it has only one type of variable i. e X in the whole eq. and one and only one zero ( solution).

• As it has unique solution we can cross check wheather the answer is right or wrong.

CLASSIFICATION OF EQUATION.

I) Linear - degree one , 1 zero

ii) quadratic - degree 2 , 2 zero

iii) cubic - degree 3 , 3 zero

iv) biquadractic- degree 4 , 4 zero .

Note - Some times it happens that there is no variable in the equation. if this condition arise and LHS = RHS then it has no solution. but if it is not equal then it has infinite many solution.
