In these question the bases are equal when the bases are equal equate the powers or else use the laws of exponents

[2/9]^3+6=[2/9]^2x-1. [a^m×a^n]=a^m+n

[2/9]^9=[2/9]2x-1

As I said if the bases are equal equate the powers

9=2x-1

9+1=2x

10=2x

x=10/2

x=5
