let total number of people in the restaurant be x.

number of adults=2x/9

number of children=(2x/9)+95

now,

x=2x/9+(2x/9+95)

x=2x/9+[(2x+855)/9]

x=(2x+2x+855)/9

9x=4x+855

9x-4x=855

5x=855

thus,x=855/5=171.

so,number of children=(2×171)+95

=342+95

=437.

hope it helps

Answer:

133

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of people= x

Adults= 2/9 x

Children = x- 2/9x= 7/9 x

  • 7/9x- 2/9x= 95
  • 5/9x= 95
  • x=95*9/5
  • x=171

number of children:

  • 7/9x= 7/9*171= 133
