2(a-3) + 4b -2 (a-b-3)+5

Let's simplify step by step

2(a-2)+ 4b-2(a-b-3)+5

Distribute :

= (2)(a)+(2)(-3)+4b+(-2)(a)+(-2)(-b)+(-2)(-3)+5

=2a+-6+4b+2a+2b+6+5

Combine the like terms

=2a+(-6)+ 4b+(-2a)+2b+6+5

=(2a+-2a) +(4b+ 2b) +(-6+6+5)

= 6b + 5
