2. A ABC is isosceles with AB - AC.
Line segment AD bisects A and meets the base BC at D. Find the
pair of corresponding parts which make a ADB = ADC by se
congruence condition.
Is it true to say that BD = CD ? Give reason.​

AB = AC (Given) since ABC is isosceles triangle

AD = DA (Common)

Angle ADB=Angle ADC (each 90degree) since altitude drawn from vertex A

so triangle ADB congrence to triangle ADC (SAS Criterion)

so BD=DC (C.P.C.T)
