Given,

ux = 20 m/s

As we know,

ax = 0

Therefore, Velocity is constant

ux = vx = 20 m/s

Now,

ay = 10 m/s²

uy = 0

t = 5 sec

v = u + at

vy = 0 + 10(5)

vy = 50 m/s

Now, magnitude of the speed is,

= \sqrt{{vx}^{2} + {vy}^{2} }

= \sqrt{{50}^{2} + {20}^{2} }

= \sqrt{2500+ 400}

= \sqrt{2900 }

= 54

Therefore,

Speed after 5 sec = 54 m/s
