Initial momentum = Mass × Initial velocity

Final momentum = Mass × Final velocity

Solution :

1.Since, the ball is in rest the initial velocity of the ball is 0m/s

Initial momentum = (2×0) = 0 kg.m/s

2. Final velocity(v)

= √(2gh)

= √(2×10×100)

= √2000

= 20√5 m/s

Final momentum

= (2×20√5)

= 40√5 kg.m/s
