Using Newton's equation for uniformly accelerated motion:

S=ut+1/2at²

u=0

t=2 sec.

a=2m/s²

S= 0×2+1/2×2×2²=0+4=4

Hence distance covered by the body in 2 seconds is just 4 meters.

Ans. 4m.

Ok.

for this question you could use the 2nd equation of kinamatics

i.e s = ut +1/2at^2

since the object starts from rest u= 0

thus s = 0*2 +1/2*2*2*2

thus the distance traveled becomes equal to 4m
