  • Final Velocity = 60km/hr

→ converting it into m/s, we get -

60 \times \frac{1000}{60 \times 60}  \\ \\ 37.5 \: m \:/s

  • Initial Velocity = 80km/hr

→ converting it into m/s

80 \times \frac{1000}{60 \times 60}  \\  \\ 50 \: m/s

  • Time taken = 5 seconds

acceleration \:  =  \:  \frac{v - u}{t}  \\  \\ a =  \frac{37.5 - 50}{5} \\  \\ a =  \frac{ - 12.5}{5}  \\  \\ a =  - 2.5 \: m/ {s}^{2}

Here, as the bus is decelerating, acceleration/deceleration is -2.5 m/s²
