2. speed = distance

time

= 180/3 = 60km/hr

it's uniform motion as the speed is not changing.

therefore, 60= 120/x ( taking time for 120km as x)

x= 2hr

3. use the same formula as above.

distance travelled in 8hrs = 480km

speed= 480/8 = 60km/hr

distance travelled in 2hrs = 60×2 = 120km

(distance = time × speed)

to convert above values in standard units( metre and seconds)

use,

1hr= 3600seconds

1km= 1000m

for speed simply multiply it with, 5/18
