Speed (m/s) 4 8 12 16 20 24

i. Draw the speed –time graph by choosing a convenient scale. [3]

Acceleration of the car= slope of line AB = 24-4/10-0 = 20/10 = 2m/s2 (ii) Distance traveled by the car in 10s = are of trapezium
