formula for speed :

speed = distance/time

time = 15min = 1/4 h

distance covered by the car in first 15 min in speed of 20km/h

distance = speed × time

= 20 × 1/4

5 km

distance covered in Next 15 min in speed of 60km/h

= distance = speed × time

= 60 × 1/4

= 15 km

total distance = 15km + 5km

= 20km
