To find :

  • Displacement of the car at the end of 5 seconds = s

Using the first equation of motion :

V=u+at

V=10+30×5

V=10+150

V=160 m/s

Using the third equation of motion :

V²-u²=2as

160²-10²=2×30×s

25600-100=60s

25500=60s

s = 2550/6

S = 425 metres

The Displacement of the car at the end of 5 seconds is equal to 425 metres
