Let's find radius of garden first

Given:-

  • Area of flower garden = 314 m

\pi {r}^{2}  = 314

3.14 {r}^{2}  = 314

 {r}^{2}  =  \frac{314}{3.14}

 {r}^{2}  = 314 \times  \frac{100}{3.14}

 {r}^{2}  = 1 \times 100

 {r}^{2}  \sqrt{100}

r = 10m

So, the radius of garden = 10m

&

Radius of sprinkler = 12m

Since, sprinkler has higher radius, it will cover the entire area of garden

Answer:

Given : area = 314 m2

According to given condition

π×r2= 314.

r2=100

∴r=10

Since Sprinkler can cover the garden with a radius of 12m as the radius of the circular garden is only 10m

∴ Sprinkler can water the entire garden.
