Here is your answer,

=============================================

The formula for density is--Density =Mass/volume. To find the mass of an object, it can be weighed using a balance or a digital scale.

The units will be in grams.

To find the volume of that object, if it is floating, you need to find out how much water the object displaces.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOUU :)

We can find the volume of an irregular piece of cork in the following way -

• The mathematical elaboration of the density of an object is :

Density = Mass/Volume

• Now,we can calculate the mass the cork with any kind of mass measuring devices.

• And,we have to calculate the volume the cork also,which we can calculate by the water displacement method of Archimedes.

• Now,when we finally get the value of the mass and volume,we can find the density of the object by the above mentioned mathematical formula. (In the SI unit of kg/m²)
