Answer:

\huge\sf\purple{Answer:}

Given that :-

  • A cylinder is 2 m long and has its diameter 1.4 cm.

  • Around the curved surface of the cylinder a wire 0.5
  • cm in diameter has been wrapped .

To find :-

  • The length and volume of the fire.

\huge\boxed{Solution:-}

length: 2m =200cm

height=200cm

diameter: 1.4cm

radius: 0.5cm

volume: πr^2h

22/7×0.5×0.5×200

22×5×2

22×14

345.62cm^2

The volume of the cylinder is 345.62cm^2

 \large \bold{ \underline{ \underline{ \: Answer : \:  \:  \: }}}

 \to The volume of the cylinder is 300 cm²

 \large \bold{ \underline{ \underline{ \: Explaination   : \:  \:  \: }}}

Given ,

Length or Height = 2 m = 200 cm

Diameter = 1.4 cm

Radius = 0.7 cm

 \fbox{ \fbox{ \bold{ \: Volume  =  \pi {(r)}^{2} h \:  }}}

 \to \frac{22}{7}  \times 0.7 \times 0.7 \times 200 \\  \\ \to 22 \times 7 \times 2 \\  \\ \to 22 \times 14 \\  \\ \to 300  \:  \:   \bold {{cm}^{2} }

Therefore , the volume of the cylinder is 300 cm²
