Distance covered by the train = 320 km

Time taken = 3hr 20min = 10/3 hr

We have, Speed = Distance / Time

\text{Speed of the train }= \frac{320}{\frac{10}{3}}= \frac{320\times3}{10}= 96km/hr

Time taken by the tain to cover 90 km = Distance/ Speed = 90/ 96 = 0.9375 hr= 0.9375 ×60 min = 56min 25 sec

Answer:

2. 50 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

3 hours 20 minutes = 60 × 3 + 20 mins

3 hrs 20 mins = 200 mins

360 km covered in = 200 mins

1 km covered in = 200 / 360 mins

90 km covered in = 200 / 360 × 90 = 50 minutes
