Answer:

a) 106

b) 23/2

Step-by-step explanation:

 {a} × {a} = 600 cm^2

a = √600

a = 10√6

• area of trapezium = 1/2 × sum of parallel sides × height

43 = 1/2 × (10+ x) × 4

10 + x = 43/2

x = 43/2 - 10

x = 23/2

Hope it will help you

Answer:

please follow me if you like my answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

a)

given , TSA = 600cm²

let, the side of the cube be a.

so,

6a² = 600

=> a² = 600/6

=> a² = 100

=> a = 10 cm

therefore , the side of the cube is 10cm.

(b) Given,

area of trapezium = 43cm²

length of one parallel side, a = 10cm

& height , h = 4cm

length of other parallel side, b =?

we know that ;

area of trapezium = 1/2(a+b) ×h

=> 43 = 1/2 (10+b) × 4

=. 43×2 = (10+b)4

= 86 = 40+4b

=86-40 =4b

= 46/4 = b

= b = 11.5cm

therefore , the length of the other parallel side is 11.5cm.
