no of bags sold=1500

total profit=12*1500

                =18000

loss on one bag of rice=2050

total loss = 2050*8

               = 16400

so profit= 18000-16400

loss on selling 2400 rice bags=2400*8

                                                  =19200

let the no of bags sold=n

n*12=19200

n=19200/12

n=1600
