Explanation:

\textsf{\textbf{Given,}}

\mathsf{x:y=2:1}

Let their common factor be a.

Hence, x = 2a, and y = a.

Since ∠POR and ∠POS form a linear pair,

∠POR + ∠POS = 180°

==> x + y = 180 ==> 2a + a = 180°

==> 3a = 180

==> a = 180/3

∴ a = 60.

Hence, the values of x and y are

x = 2a = 2 x 60 = 120°

y = a = 60°

Answer: x = 120°, y = 60°

I hope this helps. :D
