2. A ladder 15m long just reaches the top of a vertical wall. if the ladder makes an angle of 60" with the wall. Find the height of the wall.​

Let the length of the ladder be =15m(hypotenuse)

The angle between the ladder and the wall ∠BCA=60∘

Angle between ladder and the ground ∠CAB=90∘−60∘

=30∘

Height of the wall =BC

sin30∘ = BC /15

⇒ 2= BC/15

⇒BC= 15/2

BC=7.5m

therefore the height of wall is 7.5m
