brainlist pls and thanks also !!!

Explanation:

here's ur answer....

first, the man moves 4m along East direction and then 3m along north direction. it formed a right angle triangle.

let the base be 4m and height be 3m

by Pythagoras theorem :-

= √(4²+3²)

= √(16+9)

= √25

= 5m

after going to North direction, the man climbs up a pole of height 12m. again it formed a right angle triangle and now the hypotenuse is the displacement.

now let the base be 5m and height be 12m.

by Pythagoras theorem :-

displacement = √(5²+12²)

= √(25+144)

= √169

= 13

hence, total distance covered by him = 3 + 4 + 12 = 19m and displacement = 13m

hope this helps..!!
