Solution :-
here mass (m) is constant
so, using Newton's 2nd law of motion .i.e.,
➠ F = ma
➠ 2 = (5)(a)
➠ a = 2/5
➠ a = 0.4 m/s²
Now, using equation of motion .i.e.,
➠ s = ut + 1/2 at²
➠ s = (0)(10) + 1/2(0.4)(10)²
➠ s = 0 + (0. 4)(50)
➠ s = 20 m
The distance covered by the mass in 10s is 20 m
