volume of cuboid = volume of cylinder this find the radius

Step-by-step explanation:

1 ) Dimensions of the metal cuboid ,

Length = l = 22 cm

Breadth = b = 15 cm

Height = h = 7.5 cm

2 ) Height of the cylinder ( H ) = 14 cm

Let radius of the cylunder base = r cm

According to the problem given ,

Metal Cuboid melted and cast into a cylinder.

Therefore,

Volume of the cylinder = volume of the metal cuboid

Pi × r^2 × H = lbh

22 / 7 × r^2 × 14 = 22 × 15 × 7.5

22 × r^2 × 2 = 22 × 15 × 7.5

r ^2 = ( 22 × 15 × 75 ) / ( 22 × 2 × 10 )

r^2 = 225 / 4

r ^2 = ( 15 /2 )^2

r = 15 / 2 cm

r = 7.5 cm

Radius of the cylinder = r = 7.5 cm.
