Let the digits be x and y

First Case : x+y = 5 --- 1

Original Number : 10x+y

Reversed Number : 10y+x

Second Case : 10y+x = 10x + y + 9 => 9y - 9x = 9 => y - x =1  --- 2

Adding 2 with 1

+x+y = 5

-x+y = 1

-------------

  2y = 6

     y = 3

Substituting value of y in First Case : x + y = 5

x + 3 = 5

x = 2

Original Number = (10 * 2) + 3 = 23

Answer is 23
