2. A parallelogram has a base of 135 dm. The corresponding height is 6 dm. Find the area
of parallelogram in square metres.

Base = 135 dm

Height = 6 dm

Area of Parallelogram = Base x Height

= 135 x 6

= 810 dm²

(Since, 1 dm² = 0.01 square meters)

= 8.1 square metres
