Given Details are

Side of square park = 30 m

Width of path= 1 m

We can find the area of path of 1 m length as given below in a simple way

When 1 m wide path is constructed in the area then it would have two side of 30 m length and balance two side of (30-1-1)= 28 m

Total length of path of 1 m width is =30x2+28x2= 116 m

Area of path of 1 m width= 116 sqm

Now rate of construction of path per sqm is Rs. 70

Total cost of construction of path = Rate x area

= 116x70= Rs. 8120
