2. A patient in a hospital is given soup daily in a cylindrical bowl of
diameter 7 cm. If the bowl is filled with soup to a height of 4 cm, how
much soup the hospital has to prepare daily to serve 250 patients?

volume of cylinder is πr²h

r =7cm

h=4 cm

= 22/7×7×7×4

= 22×28

= 616 cm³ for one patient

for 250 patient

250× 616

=154,000cm³

Volume of a cylindrical shape body

V=base ×height

Therefore Volume = 7×4=28 liter

To serve 250 patients=250×28=7000 liter
