Answer:

Length of garden including width = 30 m

width of garden including width = 25 m

Width of Path including width = 2.5 m

So,Inner length = 30-(2.5+2.5)= 25 m

Inner width =25-(2.5+2.5) = 20 m

Area of path = Outer area - Inner area

                     = (30 \times 25)-(25 \times 20)=(30×25)−(25×20)

                     = 250 m^2=250m2

Answer:

\huge\colorbox{yellow}{Given\:-}

• Length of garden = 30 m

• Breadth = 25 m

• Path = 2.5 m

\huge\colorbox{yellow}{To\:Find\:-}

The area of the path

\huge\colorbox{yellow}{Solution\:-}

Outer \:  area = 30m \times 25m =  {750m}^{2}

inner \: length = 30m - (2.5m + 2.5m) = 25m

inner \: breadth = 25 - (2.5m + 2.5m) = 20m

inner \: area = 25m \times 20m =  {500m}^{2}

 \small\underbrace\mathrm\red{Area\:of\:path}

 \boxed{Outer\:area-Inner\:area}

 =  {750m}^{2} -  {500m}^{2}

\pink{ =  >  {25m}^{2}}

Hence, Area of rectangular garden is 25 m^2
