HERE IS THE ANSWER

Length of the room = 20m

Breadth of the room = 18m

Area of the room = l × b = 20× 18= 360sq m

Let the length of the carpet required = 'l' m

Width of the carpet = 1.5 m

Area of the carpet = Area of the room

⇒ l × 1.5 = 360

⇒ l = 360/ 1.5

⇒ l = 240

Length of the carpet required = 240m

Cost of the carpet per metre = Rs 75

Total cost of the carpet = 240*75=.18000

Answer: Dimensions of room

Length =20cm, Breadth=18cm

Area of room=LXB

=20X18

=360m²

Depth of Carpet =1.5m

Area of room=Area of Carpet

360=LXB

360=LX1.5

360/165=L

360/15X10=L

Cut 15 and put 3 Cut 10 and put 2=L

Cut 3 and 360 write 120

120X2=Length

240m=Length of Carpet

Cost of Carpet per m=Rupees 60

240m=60X240

Cost of Carpet=Rs.14400
