2. A rope by which a cow is tethered is increased from
16m to 23m. How much additional ground does it
now have to
graze

The lenght of the rope earlier = 16m (Radius of the previous circle )

So,the area of the ground the cow grazed => (2×π×16)m = 100.57 m²

ATQ (When the length of the rope was increased)

Length of the rope = 23m

Now,the area of the ground cow will graze => (2×π×23)m = 144.57 m²

Therefore ,the additional ground the cow has to graze => (144.57 - 100.57)m² = 44 m²
