2. A shopkeeper bought two articles for 2400 and 3200 respectively. He sold the
first article at a profit of 12% and the second article at a loss of 10%. Find his profit
or loss percent as a whole.​

1)first,we find the selling price=(100+profit percent)×C.P

now, we find the. profit =S.P - C.L

=2688-2400

profit. =288

we find the profit percentage=profit ×100

C.P

=288×100

2400

=12% answer

2)we, find the selling price= (100-loss percent) ×C.P

= (100-10)×3200

100

=90×3200

100

s.p = 2880

now, we find the loss= C.P - S.P

=3200-2880

=320

loss percent=loss×100

C.P

=320×100

3200

=10 percent answer
