2. A shopkeeper buys 40 crates of eggs (each crate having 10 eggs) for 400. On his way back, 25 eggs break
He sells the remaining eggs for 1.20 each. If he manages to sell all the remaining eggs, (a) what is his
profit or loss, and (b) what is his profit or loss per cent to the nearest whole number?​

so, CP of Per eggs=1₹

Total Eggs he had=40×10=400 egg

but unfortunately he broke 25 Eggs. So remaining Egg=375

now SP of 1 eg=1.2₹

so total sp of 375 Eggs=375×6/5=75*6=450

50₹ profit on 400₹

So on 100₹ there will be 12.5₹ profit

i.e, His Profit % will be 12.5
