Marked price of a dinner set = Rs. 1000

And selling price (SP) = Rs. 900

∴ Amount of discount = 1000 - 900 = Rs. 100

∴ Discount percent = \frac{Discount\times100}{MP}=\frac{100\times100}{1000}=10\%

MP

Discount×100

=

1000

100×100

=10%
