nA = n (Given)

nB = n/8 (Given)

E = 1/2mv²,

v = Amplitude × Angular velocity

v = aω

Therefore,

= 1/2ma²ω²

Also, as ω = 2πn

As Ea = Eb

(aA/aB)² = ( nA/nB)²

(aA/aB)² = ( n/8/n)

= 1/8

= aB = 8aA = 8a

Therefore, the amplitude of B is 8a.
