Given:

Pressure inside truck in Srinagar, P₁ = 3 atm

Temperature in Srinagar, T₁ = -23°C = - 23 + 273 = 250 K

Temperature in Madras, T₂ = 30°C = 30 + 273 = 303 K

To Find:

Pressure inside truck in Madras, i.e., P₂

Calculations:

- From Gay Lussac's law, we have:

P₁ / T₁ = P₂ / T₂

⇒ 3 / 250 = P₂ / 303

⇒ P₂ = 3 × 303 / 250

⇒ P₂ = 909 / 250

P₂ = 3.636 atm

- So the internal pressure when the truck  drives through Madras, Tamil Nadu is 3.636 atm
