2. A wire of length 20cm is to be form a rectangle of :-
(1). Maximum area.
(2). Maximum area.
If the length and breath are taken always are taken. always in natural number, find the same in each case.

Answer:

area = l×b ( rectangle )

perimeter = 2(l+b) (length (l) × breadth (b)

so, 2(l+b) =20 cm

there fore l+b =20/2 = 10 cm.

let take length has 1,2,3,4...,9

there fore, b= 9, 8,...1

1×9=9cm^2

2×8=16cm^2

3×7=21cm^2

............

......

..... from here 5×5=25cm^2 is the maximum area. so length =5 cm and breath =5cm.
