2. About any King of Indian dynasty-



Porus -
Porus was an Indian king of Paurava dynasty whose territory spanned from the river Hydaspes (Jhelum) and Acesines (Chenab)(probably the boundary of modern day Pakistan and Punjab).
Well known for his intelligence, he was renounced for his administrative skills and was considered as a legendary warrior. He fought against Alexander the Great and lost the battle but this battle was considered as a victory of Porus as when Alexander captured Porus and asked how he would like to be treated, he fearlessly stated that he would like to be treated as a king which greatly impress Alexander.


Personal view - I assume him to be my favourite Indian ruler for his patriotism and for his intelligence. ​
