probability of drawing a green ball is 2/5. Find the number of red ball in the jar.

p(not e)=1-p(e)

P(not e)=1-0.4

=0.6

p(not e)=6/10

terefore the pro. 0f red marbles in a jar is 6/10 .

p(e)=2/5=16/40

p(not e)=6/10=24/40

there fore no. of red marbles is 24 and no. of green marble is 16

24 + 16= 40
